Welcome! Cthulhu is a PvE 10man raiding guild active on the Horde side of Eonar eu.
We take our raiding very seriously and have an active calendar of 10man raiding for at least 4 nights a week.
Currently recruitment is closed.
Saturday July 17th
25 to 10s
After some deliberation, we have decided to reform Cthulhu from a 25man raiding guild to a 10man raiding guild.
We'll be focusing on 10 man content from now on and perhaps run the occasional pug on 25s. To those wondering, yes the upcoming
Cataclysm changes have influenced this choice as well.
Furthermore, this means we'll be closing all recruitment for now until we have a good and clear picture of what we need/want for our
10s progress.
Tuesday July 6th
Looking for tanks!
Recruitment open again! We're looking for 1 or 2 great tanks who are up to the pressure of tanking stuff at the cutting
edge of progress (god that sounded dumb!). If you think you have what it takes then please apply.
Please do note that we're looking for tanks that can make all 4 nights as we really don't like to rotate tanks much. So you gotta
have no life ;)
We are also actively seeking a healing priest and a resto druid.
Lastly, we're also considering a lock spot atm.

HALION 25 down.
Halion down on normal mode. Rather simple fight tbh. We had a few goes on him on Heroic first, which if anything is at least interesting
in terms of fight mechanics. Normal mode is just a hell of a lot of repetition followed by even more repetition... p1 and p2 are soo boring for healers.

New videos: Heroic Deathwhisper and Heroic Saurfang
As promised some HEROIC movies to enjoy. First up are Deathwhisper and Saurfang, two of the somewhat trickier bosses on heroic 25s. I tried to make these a bit more fun to watch and
spend a little more time editing, the quality should be slightly better as well. Amateur video editing ftl :/

Progress Update: 9/12 heroic modes down!
Thought I'd pop down a small word on our progress which has been rather great as of late. We started hard modes a bit back and have had some troubles with
people missing and too few to raid (give more applications please! Yes you! On the right, go clicky go!). However even with a little too few we did manage
to scrape enough together to raid a couple of times a week and get 9 out of 12 heroic modes down.
Lady Deathwhisper is definitely the sweetest one to get so far as it's just a hell of a fight on 25s. Awesome work guys ;)
To note, there will be three new movies incoming all Heroic modes (Marrowgar, Deathwhisper and Saurfang). I'm hoping to get some other heroics up as soon as possible!

Hardmodes and new video!
Haven't updated in a bit. Our first week of Heroic mode ICC25 was reasonable. Currently we are 'just' 3/12 in the hardmodes, but we've had some signing problems.
Currently down:
- Marrowgar (oneshot!)
- Boat (also oneshot!)
- Rotface (alas, not oneshot :P)
We're still looking for some people to fill up our roster, so don't be afraid and have a peek at applying if you're interested.
I also got around to editing some of the frapses I've had around, of which the first: Sindragosa.

Sunday, April 4th
Sindragosa bites the dust.
With barely 25 man, we hoped to get some tries on Sindragosa, but we ended up killing her :) Good times all around, awesome job!
Even some nice tries on the Lich King as well and hopefully some more tomorrow. 11/12 progress in ICC25 now.
Also, our 10mans pushed a bit as well, now on 8/12 hard modes in ICC10. Not too shabby for a first fortnight of raiding. The tentacled one is pleased!!
